Maison de Viron
The villa was not ready in one-two-three and therefore the family first moved into the barn. Around 1928 their villa was finished. The baron died in 1931 at the age of 60 and 36 years later his 84-year-old wife Maguerite also died. Isabelle the youngest daughter and still the only unmarried daughter stayed alone in the house until 1980. Then the converted barn where the family lived before the villa was finished, converted into two apartments, one of which served as a new home of baroness Isabelle de Viron . Afterwards the villa has never been inhabited. During the Second World War the house was decorated as a war hospital. The villa was used twice during the war, during the breakthrough and later as a training resort. The villa is now empty for almost 40 years.
