Château des Singes
Listed as a historic monument, the Château des Singes is a magnificent house built during the 17th century. Its name comes from the frescoes painted on its walls which depict monkeys. The place is also known as the Château de la Folie and the Château du Turfiste.
Located in a small town of less than 400 inhabitants, we will keep quiet its real name as well as its geographic location in order to protect it from these vandals who have already visited it many times. Abandoned since 2012, the Chateau des Singes quickly became famous on the internet. Its architecture and its staircase of great beauty have made it a very popular place for urbexers.
